Excellent movie. It projects imagery reminiscent of the early 60's by people who lived through WW 2. An aged Cary Grant and mature Audrey Hepburn make watching this film fun.

Fast paced and a delightful movie. I would rent again. It was a mystery that kept me guessing until the end.

Great movie! Love it!

Excellent film. Much better than the drivel they try and pass off as mysteries these days. This picture could have been part of Hitchcock's cannon of work. It has much the same look and feel of a Hitchcock classic. No disrespect to…

A perfect construction of romance, suspense and humor, inlaid with two of the most enchanting movie stars to ever grace the medium, Stanley Donen’s 1963 film receives the attention and transfer it deserves as a Criterion Collection…

One of my favorites that I rewatch every few years. Stylish performances by Grant and Hepburn. Matthau is also wonderful.

Dated and silly, with moments of suspense. Some of the dialogue was fun: e.g., Cary Grant to Audrey Hepburn: "How about making me Vice President in charge of cheering you up?" Not great, but good enough entertainment.

Classic movie, although some mistake it for Hitchcock, it's not close. Highly recommended, BUT... the DVD I checked out was some dime-store reproduction from GoodTimes Video or something equally bad. In other words: horrible print, even…

Great crime thriller with bits of comedy and romance thrown in. Described by one critic as the best Hitchcock movie that Hitchcock never made. Audrey Hepburn won the Best Actress BAFTA Award for her role in this film and Cary Grant…

Love Audrey Hepburn. I saw this film in first release in a movie theatre. It created an item for my bucket list - riding on a boat on the Seine in Paris at night. My wish was fulfilled in 1998 for my 50th birthday. Love the film. …

Very good comedic thriller starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

Such a lovely movie … Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn are charming and even though the movie was made in 1963, it still was completely watchable. Too bad movies these days are all about 'super' heroes, and not about 'real' people.

1960's thriller... Is it a drama?... a comedy??? a thriller. Fun to watch but I figured it out early on. A bit over-acting in parts but Grant & Hepburn make it fun.

Will we ever see two great actors in their prime playing opposite each other like Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant? Will we ever have such a wonderful script for said such actors to challenge them? Did I mention that Walter Mattheu has a…

i had just watched The Big Sleep before this (William Faulkner was one of the writers) which had amazingly zippy dialogue spoken by Bogart who could really deliver a line. By contrast,Charade has some of the worst dialogue and line…

Cary Grant and Audrey are simply wonderful here and it makes for one of Audrey's best movies. Very entertaining and Cary Grant has some extremely funny moments; one in particular. I won't spoil it, but you'll know it when it appears on…

Directed by Stanley Donen in 1963, this American romantic thriller depicts the search for the stolen money. Although the film contains disgusting touches and gruesome violence, the drama appears like a nice Hitchcock movie. Superb are…

The plot has too many holes and reaches and some of the performances fall flat, but there is something about this undemanding crime caper that keeps you watching and smiling just the same. Maybe it’s the lush Oscar-nominated musical score…

Oh what a movie! Enjoyable, thrilling, oh the fashion back then, everyone looked good- even the bad guys! Such a good movie resulted in actually buying our own copy.

The best Hitchcock movie that Hitchcock never made. Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant are prefect together. Needlessly and poorly remade in 2002 as "The Truth About Charlie." "You know what's wrong with you?" "No, what?" "Nothing."
