I could not put this book down. If you've ever struggled with binge eating... if you're a couple of pounds over weight, but long to be skinnier -- or if you've ever wanted to understand the people in your life who do struggle with these things, then you will love this book. I think that Spechler gives us a heroine -- while not perfect and at times you're annoyed at her lack of judgement in her decision making -- that is utterly truthful, and like way too many of us.
