"In the wild world of Beverly Hills (according to Bravo, at least), high-priced glam squads, flashy cars, and off-the-charts drama are the norm. Enter Kyle Richards: Sister of Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton (and aunt, of course, to Paris!), she's practically royalty in the 90210 zip code. And yet her loving family life, lack of pretention (no nannies, stylists, or personal chefs for this diva), and "girl's girl" attitude made her a breath of fresh air on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, one of the best-loved stars of the blockbuster Real Housewives franchise is revealing how she achieves that perfect blend of celebrity and normality. In this collection of the best tips, advice, and strategies she knows, Kyle will help readers create that blend of glitz and savvy in the four major areas of their own lives: - Family and relationships: Kyle's marriage is genuinely supportive in a world where that's not always the case, and her children are at the forefront of her on- and off-screen lives. This book is packed with no-nonsense advice on how to juggle life's big relationships. - Style: From fashion to home dčor, Kyle's here to teach us what every denizen of Beverly Hills already knows: once you look put-together, you'll start to feel put-together. - Beauty: Readers will be treated to Kyle's best beauty tricks, and her advice on when to splurge and when to save your bucks. (Sneak peek: Those famously luscious locks? Courtesy of Pantene!) This is a must-read for every fan of the show and any avid consumer of pop culture. Stop wondering what it's like to live in the country's most glamorous zip code... and start trying out the good life yourself!"--Provided by publisher.

As a big fan of the Real Housewives, I was looking forward to this book and boy, was I disappointed. On the TV show, Kyle always came across as the most likeable, grounded one which is pretty unusual given that she grew up in Hollywood and lived her entire life in a celebrity, status-driven culture. The topics she discusses are so frivolous (make-up, beauty tips and a whole chapter on maintaining her luscious locks) and it is so poorly written that it reads like a 12 year old's diary. The singlemost annoying thing about the book is the overusage of "Ha"s which any decent editor would've kiboshed. Don't waste your time on this!
