This book might be good, but it was too unwieldy for the reader and so we don't know.
In the large print format liked by so many older readers, this particular book is too large for many of them to handle physically. This defeats the purpose of making it accessible for them. At some point, the LP publishers should break these mammoth books into two volumes (or perhaps the KCLS should do so, if it wants to serve these readers).

I thought it was an extremely well researched and well written book. He portrayed the man, warts and all, but what a man! A lot of space was taken up with CBS News in-fighting and ratings wars, but that is the nature of the business. Cronkite was just a great man, and his qualities came through.
