A good fantasy with lots of suspense but no really dark moments.
The spring is slow in coming and when Fer reaches into the forest pool she opens a passage way into another world - spring has not arrived there either. Fer must challenge the ruling Lady and set one world to rights before the balance of nature is restored in both.

This book is about a girl named Fer who lost both her parents and is taken care of by her grandma. One day she get tired of her grandma's too protective stare. She go out to explore and finds something hurtand takes him to be healed at home. After a closer look Fer noticed that appeared to be a boy.he said he knows what she is and intends to bing her through the Way. Yet, her grandma forbids this and forced the boy to leave. Fer knows that there is a different world that this one and she determined to get there.
