Complex murder mysteries interwoven with the memory of childhood trauma of Jericho, a Scotland Yard investigator. A very good, intense series taking place in the 1950-s.
Good acting. Good plot.
Usual good UK police dramas.
Very well written and acted. The stories are interesting and keep you guessing who done it.
I wanted to like this series but was disappointed. The acting is good but some aspects of the plot are just ridiculous. There's no way that so much media attention on one copper would happen or be tolerated in 50s Britain. The convoluted coincidences of the plot are unbelievable. As for a top cop being dumb enough to open a suitcase at a press conference with no idea of its contents: just silly nonsense.
Hard edge murder mystery from British TV that packs a punch. These detectives are complex and interesting to watch as they attempt to solve each murder. I found it one of the better British television detective series! "Jeriko" breaks new ground with screen plays that keep you on the edge of your seat!
I disagree....I think it is a very good series and of course you will recognize some of the other actors in it. Anyone that enjoys British television and something that you can rely on as far as a murder mystery--and it is always better than what the American television is bringing out....seriously lacking.....
Good acting, some good plots, but this is just another cop with daddy issues and a hooker girlfriend story. Of course he has an evil cop trying to ruin him. A great rainy weekend series, but don't expect anything new or exciting.
