Fun, animated movie for the kiddies with lots of great, off-beat characters, especially the Magnificent Marvelous Mad Madame Mim. Strange, though, that through most of the movie Merlin pushes knowledge, study & wisdom as the keys to success, instead of relying on luck and fate, but then at the end Arthur gets to travel to London based on pure luck (the other squire gets sick), and he pulls the sword from the stone based on fate. Seems like luck and fate worked out pretty well for him.

It's cute if you like Sleeping Beauty-style animation. The only reservation I had about this movie was that there was absolutely no major conflict, just very minor stuff.

A very charming version of the King Arthur story. Don't be fooled by the animation - adults will enjoy this as much as children.
