Loved it, but most stories were severely depressing. Thats why the low rating.

one of the best collections of short stories i think i've ever read. each one in a different set, a different world. each story so different from the last that they all leave a powerful feeling of endearment to every main character. of a new hope for the next story. and the one after that, and every world after.

I am currently reading this book and so far the stories are quite good, some of them hilarious. Also, the info about the authors, at least for a few of them, is amusing. I think you should read this book.

This was a great book. I didn't enjoy all the short stories, but I did like most of them. Some were twists on fairy tales I recognized, and some were entirely original (as far as I could tell). Some had plot twists and surprise endings, and some had ambiguous endings. "Beauty and the Chad" was one of my favorites. It was hilarious. "Figment" really touched me, and almost made me cry. "Untethered" was another one that touched me, but sad stories about sisters often do.

Pretty girls, he explained, were cunning, devious creatures. They were notorious for playing coy, stringing you along until the day they broke your heart.
