Convoluted plot and hard to follow. Sort of a bizarre mash-up of "Heat" and "Training Day". Hard to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, until the last 20 minutes. Okay if you have 90 minutes to kill. Rufus Sewell was great as the dirty cop.
Better on the second viewing, once I knew what was going on.

(Hot off the press: By Robert O'Harrow Jr., Sari Horwitz and Steven Rich January 16 at 2:15 PM --- Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Friday barred local and state police from using federal law to seize cash, cars and other property without warrants or criminal charges.)

A London police story which focused on police efforts to deplete the wealth of criminal merchants. Detective Parker and his crew was sanctioned by the top brass to do just that until ... one too many twist and turn for me.

Dixon replies to police top brass: … if a cop doesn't commit perjury, you're never gonna get a conviction. That our undercovers 'cause more damage on the streets than those they're trying to catch.

That the only way to take a criminal off the streets is to take all their cash. Because if you don't, somewhere down the line they're just gonna buy themselves out.
Even now it feels like I'm lying, even when I'm telling the truth.

Parker: Er, you gotta get with the programme, mate. You're either on the inside
or you're on the outside. There's no right or wrong. It's just winners and losers. What you're feeling right now, that's gonna go away. I went through the same thing. We all did. It's your first time. I'll hold your hand. I'll walk you through it. No one needs to die here except him. … Most people are only capable of looking forwards and backwards, yeah? Never at the moment. Never at the moment they're in.

Parker: I've seen people fxyzing strung up, slammed down because they missed their moment when it came. Now, Dixon. Your moment's arrived. This is it, mate. Question is, are you man enough to take it?
