James Woods was hilarious.... So many memorable moments in the film. Absolutely loved it.

Originally released back in 1997 - "Hercules" is an American animated musical/fantasy/comedy film produced through Walt Disney Pictures. Its budget was $85 million.

Featuring several songs - This fantasy picture would be Disney's 35th animated feature film. Its story is loosely based on the legendary hero Heracles (known in the film by his Roman name, Hercules), the son of Zeus, in Greek mythology.

For the most part - "Hercules" is quite an entertaining film providing, of course, that you don't take its story too seriously and you are willing to forgive all of the liberties that its scriptwriters took with the original tale, concerning our muscular hero, which was derived from the touchy subject of ancient legend.

Loosely based on a bit of well-known Greek Mythology - Hercules (son of Greek god, Zeus) is left on Earth (due to unforeseen circumstances) to be raised by mortal parents, yet, at the same time, he's able to retain his amazing, god-like strength.

As an awkward teen Hercules discovers his immortal heritage. With plenty of help from his great pal Pegasus, the winged horse, Hercules quickly learns the way to becoming a famed hero as he battles hideous monsters sent by Hades.

Suitable for the enjoyment of all ages - This pleasant, well-paced, animated "Disney" production (from 1997) is nicely spiced with gags and songs.

I can't imagine Hades without hearing James Woods's voice--spectacular! A fun, and I think often underrated, Disney movie.

The movie “Hercules” is a marvellous Disney movie to watch and is absolutely one of my many favourite movies. The animation of this movie was fantastic, the animation of this movie definitely resembles Disney's unique animation style. Overall the animation of the background and characters was very well done with wonderful colour. The colours of the movie were also very well used with a blend of brights and darks to empathizes emotion in different sections. The plot of this movie was very interesting with Hercules trying to become a hero in order to live his actual life as Zeus’s son. The ending of this movie was amazing and very touching, with Hercules choosing love over living the life as Zeus’s son in the sky. The emotion and mood which was used in this movie were amazing with glimpses of anger, sadness, joy and worry. I believe that this movie is enjoyable for all ages as it is a children’s movie, however “Hercules” is still recommended for adults. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys Greek mythology or Superheros.

I've always liked this movie, even if there are a few problems with the story. I was never super attached to the art style, but it works well. The music is the best part of the movie.

Wow! I finally saw this after hearing so many good things about it, and I will say that I am very impressed. It should be recognized as a classic and not forgotten! Just like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, and Treasure Planet, Hercules is another Disney movie that time has over-shadowed. However, it is just as good as the classics. I loved the main characters, specifically Hercules, Meg, and Hades. They were probably the best among the cast, especially Meg. She and Herc make a great couple; I love them together! Plus, this movie is REALLY funny. Seriously, more humor than you'd expect. Also, the pacing was done very well. Although most of the songs come in the beginning (and can seem like an overdose), the movie progressed at a steady pace, making things interesting and having the scenes flow smoothly together. Although the CGI is NOTHING like what we have now and looks a bit dated, it doesn't take away too much to the overall essence of the film. Again, I say well done, Disney. Go watch this; it needs a larger fan base.

(Meg) *upon meeting Hercules* SO...were you given a name along with all those rippling pectorals?
(Hercules) I...uh...um...*speechless* (Meg) *tightly smiles* Are you always this articulate?”
(Hercules) *finds his tongue* HERCULES!! *clears throat* My name is Hercules.
(Meg) *laughs* I think I prefer Wonder Boy.

(Meg) No chance, no way, I won't say it, no, no!
(Muses) You swoon, you sigh, why deny it, oh oh!
(Meg) It's too cliche, I won't say I'm in love!
