Not as humorous as its Irish counterpart. But that should come as no surprise. Some major topics not covered: the Flight of the Earls, history of Clans such as Campbell, MacLeod, and Kennedy to name a few. Little info on the Scots who emigrated to Ireland in the 17th century.
This book maintains that after the Battle of Culloden, Prince Charles headed to his beloved France. In other historical treatments, he did so on the sly. Only a few people knew of his whereabouts, including the lady (no surprise there) that gave him asylum.
