Mr. Neil Armstrong is one of my most admired and respected men in history. This documentary film on him and his life with words from his family and colleagues is truly moving, inspirational, uplifting, and awe-ful. I had watched it 3 times before I returned it to the library.

Great that audio clips of interviews with Armstrong are part of this documentary. He was unfairly labeled by many as a recluse. He was active in academia, business, and public service - just not at media demand. Astronauts who flew with him express awe at his skill and cool.

An outstanding documentary look at the life of the first astronaut to set foot on the moon. Armstrong, who preferred to keep out of the spotlight, makes for a compelling subject, with plenty of commentary about him from family, friends, and fellow astronauts. The documentary examines his life before, during, and after the lunar mission, and could easily have been expanded to twice its length- one feels it's just brushing the surface of the subject.
