I didn't find this book very interesting. A friend of mine described it as "corny," and that about sums it up. The action is not believable, the writing has no hint of wit, and the plot is more absurd than that of the average thriller. I guess this is not my kind of book.

I love this series. You can read it as a stand alone but if you follow the series the main character Jefferson Tayte becomes more real. Very fast past with many twists and turns and unexpected happenings. It also gives an interesting history lesson on the royal lineage. this is the only one so far that leaves a cliff hanger at the end.

Fast paced and an easy read - combines genealogy with modern day murder mystery.
