A great read that puts you in the shoes of the Civil War's soldiers, Union and Confederate. It really makes you think more about the feelings of the men fighting instead of just the statistics. A must-read for every history fan.

A must read before moving on to Pulitzer Prize winning "The Killing Angels" by Michael Shaara.
