A strong start gets a bit addled by framing her ending as an appeal to Christian fundamentalists (for example, she recommends tithing 10% of your income to your church-- beyond what most planners recommend for charitable giving--and leaving the success of your financial planning up to God). To be clear, this is a decent book otherwise and it moves along quickly, emphasizing why women, longer-lived than men, especially need to think through their finances; provides formulas for budgets and other planning tasks; the compounding beauty of time; and how to choose a financial advisor.
