A Listen to This pick. Joe has all the information he needs on Beck from social media. As Joe invisibly and obsessively takes control of Beck’s life, he orchestrates a series of events to ensure Beck finds herself in his waiting arms. Moving from stalker to boyfriend, Joe transforms himself into Beck’s perfect man, while quietly removing the obstacles that stand in their way. Listen to the book before you see the Netflix series.

Couldn't stop listening. I was always waiting for the next twist. The narrator was excellent. I was constantly thinking, oh he is such a good guy, wait no!

Oh, so that's what it's like to live inside an obsessive, psychopathic, murderous, sex-crazed (and sometimes rather comical) stalker's head. Scary because Joe runs a business, acts like a good friend and appears so normal ... until he isn't. What's frightening is that it would be almost impossible to see the complete crazy in a guy like this until it's too late. Being in Joe's head for five days was a fascinating but disgusting place to be. I read fast not only because the story line pulled me in, but also because I WANTED OUT of that deranged, repulsive place. You is very well written, but the subject matter makes for an overall depressing, downright icky book.

Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. There were several times I sat in the driveway for 20 extra minutes because I didn't want to stop listening.

A book with no likable characters! Our hero is a psychopath of the highest degree. Although it is obvious how this romance will end, the rationalization process for Joe's actions is complex and utterly self serving. With that said, looking forward to reading the sequel.
