I listened to this as an audiobook so it may have lost some of it's appeal to me. The narrator was not the issue and it was a good listen. A book driven by so many characters is sometimes difficult to follow via audiobook. It was a solid piece though. I read it for what I think it was intended as, a work of fiction. I have not seen the mini series but am definitely interested now.
