In the movie “Fireproof,” a firefighter (“Caleb”) played by Kirk Cameron (“Mike Seaver” on “Growing Pains”) is heading for divorce. Caleb’s dad encourages him to try something that helped his own marriage: He wants to send his son something in the mail to try for 40 days. The movie shows what happens when Caleb tries this 40-day challenge. What his dad sent is in the book “The Love Dare.” Based on the Bible, including the New Testament book of 1st Corinthians, chapter 13 (“If I speak with the tongue of an angel but do not love, I am but a clanging cymbal ….
