An important documentary about the relationship between food producers, harvesters, & retailers. My only problem with these types of films is that they're filled with folksy guitar & long bokeh shots. The troubling thing is that everyone knows this is happening, but nobody does anything about it. The ultimate oxymoron is "well-paid farm labour." I gotta go, tomatoes are on sale for 49¢ per kg.

Important story about the people that work hard to bring our food to the supermarket, but still end up hungry. If you like this, check out Barry Estabrook's Tomatoland.
