Sophie Anderson, a near-divorcee, and Trevor Black, a recent widower, inadvertently rent the same house on Nantucket Island for two months. They ultimately decide to share the large house. As summer wears on and guests come and go, the two families grow closer. The author has a way of drawing you into the characters' lives that makes them feel like old friends. A good beach read.
