Sparked by the a provocative comment to BigThink.com last fall, and fueled by a highly controversial debate with Creation Museum curator Ken Ham, Bill Nye's campaign to confront the scientific shortcoming of creationism has exploded in just a few months into a national crusade. In this book, he expands the points he has made, and claims that this debate is not so much about religion versus science, as about the nature of science itself.

Excellent, thorough, accessible explanation of the science and biology behind evolution. Nye's almost unbridled enthusiasm really comes through on the audio as you can hear the excitement and wonder in his voice. He never gets too technical even when talking about the chemical makeup of the most basic of building blocks, amino acids, while always keeping his eye on the big picture. His argument that the importance of science education can not be underestimated is well-defended and compelling.

Recommended to anyone who is interested in science and wants to learn from a man who is still completely enthralled with the natural world.
