This is a very heart-warming story about what it's like to raise a child with Downs syndrome. Although Jillian's parents have to fight hard with different school boards for Jillian to be included in the regular classroom, their perseverance is rewarded, and Jillian grows up to be a funny, loving adult who gets married and is able to live independently. I highly recommend this book for everybody.
