I agree with the previous comment that it was visually hard to follow. I read that review before borrowing, assuming it wouldn't bother me, but it truly was complicated to follow visually.
This was a great book to start our homeschool year off. We talked about how school looks different for all sorts of people. Really nice to have a book to make our first day of school special.
My home schooled kids enjoyed this read, but the illustration felt chaotic and visually difficult to organize.
Nice book. I tend to like all the books written by this particular author but found that this story was too limiting for my son. He had a hard time understanding how the house was also a school and seemed to be getting unrealistic ideas of how to implement this idea to get out of going to prek. Very cute book for Homeschooled children but otherwise difficult story to engage other toddlers.
