Surprisingly not a bad film. Far better than i had originally imagined. I thought it was well written as well act well acted. Good creepy feel to it as well.

A completely nonsensical story line. The dialog and situations were absurd. If all you want to see are special effects with no cohesive story, then this is the movie for you.

A decent concept with a decent cast and decent special effects....wasted. Inconsistancies in the story and just downright stupid actions of the main characters made this unpleasant for me to watch. There was nothing scary about this movie either. It's like whoever made it had no frame of reference. The idea that this warranted a sequel is beyond my comprehension.

Very creepy. The horror is akin to "The Ring". Similar story, too: possessed girl locked away in antechamber to the family home; the demonic evil associated with her leads to the haunting of future unfortunates. Keifer Sutherland does well as the lead, and since he is Jack Bauer, I had utter confidence that he would be a threat to the evil at hand.

The idea behind this film seemed original to me; however, it faltered in its execution. At the beginning, I did not quite understand why I felt this way. Then I realized that there were two things that bothered me. First, the family element seemed a bit superfluous. Second, because of the mirrors/reflections, the element of surprise was lacking. Thus, the gore scenes, although creative enough for my taste, fell flat. I really believe in the potential of this movie and to some extent wish for a sequel that would set things right.

I thought the movie wasn't bad. Had some good scary features to it. I would recommend it if you like scary movies.

Fair – Mirrors (2008) 111 min. Hollywood is running out of ideas to scare the living daylights out of us. In this picture starring the intense Kiefer Sutherland, ghosts from inside mirrors wreak havoc on his life and anyone else that comes close those nasty apparitions. The problem I had with this film is that the concept was ridiculous. All anyone had to do was “remove the mirrors” or stay somewhere where mirrors were not present and all is solved. Very little is provided in terms of chills though the ending was right out of Twilight Zone episode; which incidentally raised the rating from “Skip It” to “Fair”.
