"Art", by Robert Cumming, is an excellent book that allows you to really familiarize yourself with the long history of man's incredible artistic creativity.

Containing lots of great illustrations that neatly compliment Cumming's informative text - "Art" certainly does a fine job of covering all aspects of artistic inspiration that goes all the way back to ancient times.

If you are seriously seeking a first-rate crash-course in the overall history of world art - Then - You really don't need to look any further than this superbly presented visual guide that certainly covers it all - Beautifully.

Impressively compiled (with informative text) by American art critic, Robert Cumming - "Art - A Visual History" is, without question, an excellent book on the fascinating subject of art that is, literally, filled-to-overflowing with everything that you've ever wanted to know about art, but just didn't know where to look.
