The book goes through a lot of the behind the scene action and shares Bush's inner most thoughts. I thought the author skimmed over some of the more interesting things about Bush. The author didn't even mention Bush's decision to attend Hirohito's funeral when he had been shot down by the Japanese and his friends and fellow soldiers were executed and cannibalized. The Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination was very briefly mentioned and it has been one of Bush's longest lasting affects on America.
