I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series, and thought I would try out this book. But I was really disappointed because riordan added the approval of homosexuality basically everywhere. If he hadn’t added all of that it would have been a decent book. And it’s also to bad because I think riordan is a really talented author but he’s using the wonderful gift Jesus gave him to defile this series he wrote with homosexuality. So watch out for that. This is my opinion

Really good book. The way the narrative matches Apollo's personality makes the story much more real and entertaining.

I hate this book, I hate this series!
Not Rick Riordan's best at all! And you need to have a girl main character! Like this post if you agree with that!

The first book in the Trials of Apollo series, this book describes the adventures of an overconfident ex-god, Apollo, who has been cast down to earth after angering his father. He is claimed by a demigod named Meg, and they go about trying to reclaim the 5 ancient oracles. In this book, they are trying to save the Grove of Dodona, which had been previously believed to have been destroyed. The book still has the same humour as the previous Percy Jackson books, so you will not be bored reading this.

First comment:
I scanned through the reviews and this book came up as either really good or really bad. Guess I'll have to read it and find out now . . .

Second comment:
I didn't even bother finishing this revolting piece of garbage. Riordan used to be so good!! His plots didn't repeat, his characters weren't all the same... but that changed. This is the same thing over again, just with a less intelligent more whiny main character.
Warning: DON'T waste your time on this!! This book isn't worth it and is simply Riordans's excuse to come up with another story.

BEUTIFUL! Absolutly well written. I love Peaches! I'm a big fan of Percy Jackson. Don't miss the Book three: the Burning Maze!

This book is the first book that I have read by Rick Riordan. I did enjoy this book very much. At first I didn't think I would finish it, but after a couple of chapters, I found that I was getting into the story. The story stems around a God, Apollo, who is banished to earth by his father until he can prove himself. He meets up with a Demigod, Meg, who goes with him on his journey. They run into all sorts of trouble, but seem to get through it. The ending to this story wasn't what I expected. But still a good read. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
