A fantastic series of lectures, presented so not only the super brilliant listener can follow. Clearly structured, good graphics and accompanied by a book for easier study at home. Enough mathematics to be fully scientific, but not so much as to be too scary for someone who has been out of school for a long time. All the experiments one wanted to see. Five stars and no doubt about it!

I thought this was another in the Teaching Company's magnificent series of courses, the majority of which deserve 4 or 5 stars. Professor Wolfson is engaging, organized and informative. I would consider this the equivalent of a well taught introductory college physics course. I enjoyed the whole thing. Check out his course on Relativity and Quantum Mechanics as well. Both 5 star courses in my judgment.
