"Kangaroo isn't your typical spy. Sure, he has extensive agency training, access to bleeding-edge technology, and a ready supply of clever (to him) quips and retorts. But what sets him apart is "the pocket". It's a portal that opens into an empty, seemingly infinite, parallel universe, and Kangaroo is the only person in the world who can use it. But he's pretty sure the agency only keeps him around to exploit his superpower"-- Provided by publisher.

Irreverent in the portrayal of spies — filled with fresh humor.

A very fun sci-fi novel about a spy with a unique ability to open a portal to a pocket universe on a forced vacation to Mars. Of course he is not good at being a tourist, of course things are not going according to plan and of course the pocket universe will have to be put to use. Enjoy the ride!

Another happy accidental find--was returned to desk while I was on duty. If you enjoy your futuristic fiction with plenty of laughs you'll enjoy this new author's first entry. I look forward to more adventures with Kangaroo.
