Murderous thieves , a brutal sheriff, a damsel in distress, a fearless out manned posse, and cave dwelling savages (Troglodytes). This is an old west action - horror flick guaranteed to entertain.

Thot it was excellent/well-made/well-acted and funny! But be warned that it is also a violent western cannibal-horror flicker. Look forward to more product from this writer-director!

Another Independent gem. The dialogue , the acting, the cinematography and the storyline...superb. Slow paced but so darn interesting to listen to the characters banter amongst themselves. There are a few scenes that might make you look away..very graphic but it goes so well with the story.
Watch the deleted scenes.
I liked this better than "H8teful Eight".

Entertaining Western/ Horror film- the dialogue is actually quite funny. Great cast of actors. warning: the film is quite violent and gory.

Good modern Western- it is brutal though and contains graphic violence so consider yourself warned- the dialogue is quite witty, and the film has a stellar cast. Definitely watch this movie instead of Tarantino's woeful " Hateful 8 " ( both star Kurt Russell incidentally ).

I really like this movie- it's a unique low budget film, with a great cast.

May 8 2017......Well, I was totally intrigued by this movie. I did need to look away at one point, but I just loved the characters, and their interactions. Watch the deleted scene, it gives a new perspective to the ending. Amazed that they made this whole movie in 21 days. I can see why some people would not like it, but I was left wanting more! I will have to read the director's other book, (he also wrote the screenplay). ......May 19, 2017, I read "A Congregation of Jackals" by S. Craig Zahler, and it was a page turner. (It also got a bit gruesome at the end, but it was easier to take in print!)

"Say goodbye to my wife. I'll say hello to yours." ... says Sheriff Franklin Hunt (Kurt Russell) to Chicory (Richard Jenkins).

Here are some already in IMDb:
Sheriff Franklin Hunt: Say goodbye to my wife. I'll say hello to yours.
John Brooder: Smart men don't get married.
Chicory: You know, I know the world's supposed to be round, but I'm not so sure about this part.
Sheriff Franklin Hunt: Pain is how your body talks to you. You'd do well to listen to it.
Buddy: This is not the time for womanly imaginings.

The worst movie ever made by Hollywood. Shame on Kurt Russell and other actors to participate in this gory fiction movie. Children should not watch this brainless movie.
