Another chapter in the on going saga that is Logan McRae's life and career. The author has shifted away from his previous formula in this series. It is not as sarcastic or humorous as before but refreshingly the plot has pivoted with the series maturing, Worth reading if you are a fan.

i always feel sorry for the beleaguered Sgt Logan McRae and this latest in the on-going saga is no exception. So many conflicts of interest and a few more turn-ups for the books.... Stuart MacBride at his very black best...most enjoyable. (Oh and I had to investigate what a 'rowie' was.I shall very likely have to make some even though my Scots grandmother from Aberdeen didn't that I can remember.)
