Excellent story . Don't let the title scare you off . This story is well written about a new kid in town who is trying to fit in to a new school and also cope with a bully at school . It just so happens he likes spiders and has a tarantula , plus acquires one more very exotic , huge one he names Monk . There are tons of interesting spider facts that Bobby includes in his Journal . Greatly enjoyed this book.
