I am a total novice with quilting but I am somehow driven to crazy quilts. The book begins with tools needed, basic sewing requirements and an explanation of foundation piecing (all of which was valuable to me). Other tips and tricks were presented along the way. This book has ten projects several of which caught my eye. To me the projects had enough detail that I could "see" how to do them. The tablet purse and upcycled wool bag are particularly intriguing: I might use the ideas for placemats or decorative pillow covers.
