In History's Great Military Blunders and the Lessons They Teach, you'll study these crucibles of history to gain a better understanding of why a civilization took-or didn't take-a particular path. This course examines some of the world's most notable examples of military misfortune, from the destruction of a Roman army at the Battle of Carrhae to the tragic landings at Gallipoli in World War I.
once again, professor aldrete presents an informative and entertaining course. after studying along with this course I truly believe along with him of being able to learn from our past. after all, war is a hell we should truly try to avoid especially in this 21st century.
Wow, even Reader's Digest can do better than this. From the 1960's this would have been hot stuff. But this, even the game stuff on You tube is better. And why do they call this series Great Courses. This is my second try with this and ultimately they seem to be only vanity pieces for B minus teachers.
