The Intimidation Game by Kimberly Strassel is an outstanding book about how we are losing our 1st Amendment right to Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Association. The so called fix to insure that elections are not takeover by "outside interests" and "big business" has morphed into a scheme that is being used to harass people that people that the Left does not like or that do not agree with the politically correct policies of today. Ms. Strassel provides proof of the intimidation game that the Left is playing to rob citizens of their voice in the election process. The harassment of people and companies in California that supported Proposition 8 is the kind of harassment that anyone that supports an issue or candidate that is not liked by the Left. Get ready folks, this kind of harassment is will become the norm if we allow it to happen. The reporting of names and addresses of people who funded opposition to the schemes and candidates of the left will be used to punish them...and that could include you!

Read the book and make up your own mind.

The politics of "Shut-upism" have permeated every aspect of the political and even the scientific world where political consensus is often considered a proven fact.

Our modern day censors "don't want to hear it" and don't want others to know dissenting views, either.

Kimberly Strassel's excellent book provides an overwhelming amount of facts, history and data. I expect the enemies of free speech to do everything they can prevent people from reading it.

Kudos to the library for ordering 3 copies. I imagine there was quite a battle behind the scenes there!
