While much of the book strays from actually discussing the "Perfect 10", it does provide an interesting overview of the sport. Information is provided on the history of the sport and the modern era, both elite and NCAA gymnastics, and highlights some of the standout athletes. A good read for any gym fan or those wanting to become one.

Just in time for the Summer Olympics, The End of the Perfect 10 will remind readers why we love to watch gymnastics - the thrilling skills, the unbelievable talent, the drama of the judges' table - and how much the sport has evolved from Nadia's perfect 10. I found it repetitive in places and thought the "perfect 10" was more of a framework to discuss women's gymnastics in general. Enjoyable, though, for fans of gymnastics.
