A shocking, must-watch documentary about the very real social, economic and environmental impacts of the global fashion industry.

what the heck is this propaganda??? If people do not want to work for lower wages, then find a better job or just accept it !
I was born in Canada, graduated Grade 12, but for many years went from one minimum job to another because I hated the working conditions or the employees I was alongside with, as I had to work harder, did the majority of work, because they did not do their fair share, and the employers knew I relied on the job simply to eat and pay the rent, so they abused the fact;
I never felt guilty when I found a better / different job and left those bastards hanging.

No way should anybody feel guilty about these so-called "third world countries" manufacturing our clothes, because for many years, so many of us wish that all industries were still based in our own countries and not outsourced globally.

I used to buy exclusively Canadian made clothing,like by MacGregor, but in the mid-late 1990s, this became impossible to find.

// The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades \\
I would definitely challenge this so-called fact or assertion - - I believe the price has increased steadily, while the quality has gone down markedly. Otherwise, the other parts I agree with.
The nefarious myth repeated ad infinitum is that Americans get cheap goods, the supposed positive of globalization, when the reality has been the offshoring of jobs and importing of almost everything profits the senior execs and owners, as all the increased revenues, from decreased labor costs, goes into their pockets, NOT in lowering product costs - - hence the exponential growth in the variation between the senior executives' salaries and perks, and the workers decreased salaries.

Eye-opening documentary. Reminds us to be more responsible with the clothes we buy.
