I adore Anne Lamott, and I enjoyed reading her musings on mercy. It felt slightly more haphazard than her other books, but still full of wisdom, grace, and wit.

Sometimes a smile to someone who looks sad is an act of mercy that fills the sender too. Lamott's writing is always genuine, funny and true to herself. I enjoyed this book.
