Great historic read.

Legendary spymaster?
Not according to all the reading I have done, including modern histories written in other countries as well.
You can read this, or you can read Colonel Richard Park's report on the OSS, which pretty much predicts the later behavior of the CIA up to the very present, an abysmal track record where national security is concerned, an exemplary track record where the interests of the super-rich are concerned.
