When mysterious incidents begin occurring on a moor in Yorkshire, an old friend begs Drew for help. As danger closes in, Drew and Madeline must determine what's really going on and find the killer before it's too late.

Set in the Britain in the 1930's, a time when the upper class "dressed" for dinner, this is Nancy Drew for grownups. A fun weekend read.

Absolutely delightful. It takes every meme from the golden age of mysteries, including starting with "A dark and stormy night" in the first sentence, and gleefully stands them on their heads. Lots of clues, lots of red herrings, some decent characters portraits, and an easygoing prose style that just gallops along. Add all that to a well-plotted mystery and you have a delightful read.
