Beautiful romantic story of a clock mechanic falling in love with the spirit of his clock tower. Great pacing with sweet romance and heart pounding action and insurgent. It is hard to find good speculative fiction with gay main characters and Timekeeper is an excellent example of how it is done! ... Read More »

Is this series going to end in tragedy? Probably. Am I going to love every minute of it? Absolutely.

I found the premise that clock towers have spirits and that they rule time very interesting. I enjoyed this book but I am wondering how the relationship between Colton and Danny will progress when Colton cannot leave his tower and more importantly the fact that time is effected by Colton's emotions. I guess I will have to read the next one.

Better than expected.

I read it while feeling unwell because I could not put it down.
Danny is a lovable character, and everyone is generally easy to sympathize with.

The only thing missing was the chorus of bells at the end of the novel.

*applause*

What a gem! I was absolutely hooked by the world building, the enthralling characters, well structured story line--everything! She really mastered it on her first novel and I can't wait to see what else comes from her (I know she has more books out now).

I really like this book and this comes from a person that doesn't read alot. This is my very first 400 pg book that i read. I am not a person that likes to read and im very picky about what i read but this book got me hook since the beginning. Ilove the characters from this book and i really liked that the main character is gay. I really liked this book from the beginning to the end. Looking foward to read the following books.

This is brand new world-building and concepts, which are so so soooo rare these days!

And for anyone who loves Diana Wynne Jones, GIVE TARA SIM A TRY!!
