Geoff Johns is great here but Ivan Reis is outstanding! His art here reminds me of some of the groundbreaking stuff (literally) he did on Green Lantern: the Sinestro War. Worth the read!

The Justice League title ties into Forever Evil by having most of the team completely off the playing field while the Crime Syndicate runs wild over the planet. It is what it is- the big event DC built to for quite awhile, though this tie-in feels like the sideshow to the main event.
