Why the 21st Century Will Be Better Than You Think

Teixeira examines "the structural and economic shifts remaking advanced societies and [believes] that the left is in a far better position to advance its agenda than the right. Eventually, [he says], the right will be forced to play on the left's terms to be competitive. This is because only the left has growing, not declining, coalitional strength and only the left is willing to confront and solve capitalism's 'Piketty problem' (a vicious cycle of rising inequality, stagnating living standards, and slowing economic growth) by building a new equitable-growth 'opportunity state'"--Provided by publisher.

The "review" from last year is not a review of the book as the person said they didn't even read it. Not useful and should not be here.

I haven't read this book yet, and frankly don't plan on it, as the author is with the Center for American Progress, which anyone who has bothered reading all those leaked emails and Wall Street speeches realizes, was solely focused on getting rightwinger, Hillary Rodham Clinton, elected!
The Clintons aren't and weren't about the Left - - just pushing austerity on the masses for their Wall Street money masters the same way the Bushes were and are - - no differences!
The result of not marketing a real left or progressive candidate has resulted in Donald Trump - - thank you C.A.P. minions!
