Do you know a kid who is obsessed with being "perfect"? Share this story about Lola, a proud sheep who always has perfect wool...that is, until she has it sheared off and it grows back completely unruly. As it turns out, her new messy wool turns out to be just right for making a new friend, and Lola learns an important lesson. Great for discussions about loving yourself and using what you have in order to helping others.

A sheep named Lola enjoys having beautiful wool. But one hot day, the sheep must get a haircut... and suddenly, Lola doesn't feel beautiful without her beautiful wool anymore. This is a great book to encourage children to accept who they are, just as they are. When Lola embraces her new wild, unruly wool, something unexpected happens - and it never would have happened if she had perfect wool!

Lola loves her soft, silky wool but when she gets sheared it turns curly and messy. She hates her new hair, until she realizes it's a perfect nesting place for a beautiful bird. Learning to love yourself regardless of your appearance is a sweet message for kids.
