Her great-grandparents built Cliff House almost a century before, but due to erosion, the once-grand home will soon fall into the sea. A guest book for Cliff House family and friends to comment on their summer visits provides a link between four generations of women in one family.

This is a good story, but I found myself walking away from it after a short time which is very unlike me. The book is told using present tense though not first person which might have been part of the problem.
