It usually takes me forever to get through a book. (Usually fall asleep after ten minutes of reading in bed) However, I this book was so engrossing that I finished very quickly - for me.

This was a fresh take on the familiar espionage theme. If you liked the movie 'Bridge of Spies' you will really enjoy this book.

This is the first book I have read from this author, and I found his writing style especially for the dialogue a little choppy. But once I got farther into the book I could tell the style of speech was very appropriate for the characters of the book.

This was the first Kanon book I've read, so I can't comment on how it compares with his previous books. It was well done, I found it almost impossible to read with any background noise since there were so many things going on in the book that I would lose track. However I found it to be a good and believable story up until the very end, I did not care for the ending, too many twists and turns that I didn't feel necessarily made sense, however I have not read a lot of spy novels, so who am i to say. Worth the read, but be aware the ending is somewhat confusing, have absolute quiet when you read it. Enjoy!
