Joanna never thought she'd have to come back to her dull, tiny fishbowl of a hometown ever again. She almost had a record deal for her all-girl rock band. She almost had it made in L.A. And then her deal went sour and her granny broke her leg ... and now here she is, running into everybody's favorite librarian every time she heads to a dive bar or catches up with old friends. He has charm, he has good taste in music--and the sight of him in running shorts is dangerously distracting. But when he loves her old town and she can't wait to check out, their new romance is surely destined for the book drop ...

Ignore the cover, which is slightly terrible, and dive into this charming story of a rocker and riot grrrl who has to come home after a bad gig, and the librarian with the nicest legs in town. It's a hoot and much better than it should have been. And I can say - the library work is depicted accurately!

A sweet, funny romance where the heroine is a badass rocker and the hero is a librarian? YES, PLEASE! When disgraced rock-star Joanna has to slink home to her stifling hometown to take care of her beloved Grandma, she is unnerved by the new (and stupidly sexy) library director Liam who LOVES his small-town life. As a rock fan, bad-girl Joanna fulfills Liam's every teenage dream, but she's itching to flee town as soon as she's able. How will they find a happily ever after that makes both their hearts sing? Title delivers a fun, satisfying read to begin her Librarians in Love series.

A riot grrrl and a librarian with a runner's body? I just found my new trope.

This book is pretty much perfect.
