Have you ever felt that no one really understood you? Have you ever wanted something so badly you were willing to lie to get it? Have those lies ever spiraled out of control? That is what happens to Maddie. She is the “sporty girl” to her friends and family but deep down she feels she is so much more!! One small lie quickly becomes 2, then 3, and soon things are getting out of hand. How can she follow her dreams and not disappoint her family and lose the trust of her friends and more importantly can she really be made to excel in more than one thing? In this second installment of The Choir Girls series, Kimball explores the realities of middle school kids trying to find where they fit in the world and the consequences of decisions, both good and bad! This is an excellent story and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!
