Thoroughly enjoyable for mystery fans, all four stories. John Barnaby's new assistant Winters is a bit of a challenge; he's not as compliant as assistants should be. And the Barnaby's new dog turns out to be a challenge too, the dog preferring modern rules cricket, an anathema to Barnaby. And then there's the incident with the badger. You'll have to watch to see what I mean. Time to pop some popcorn and enjoy.
I felt it was a bit cluttered now with all the new players, extras and modern things, compared to the previous episodes, and has lost some of its surrealism, weirdness, and creepiness.
Rated 10/10. As usual, this series is excellent. It's too bad that the decision has been made to break series 19 into two parts; to make more money, I guess. Other than that, the new guy seems to be fitting right in. I'm looking forward to part 2.
Can't wait to see this.
It's on its way! 8/4/17.
A good series. From the first to the nineteenth and beyond.
