My Family, My Friends, My Life
These Lifted Me up Along the WayBook - 2017
An autobiography of Rita Lulay Malsch who was born in 1944 during World War II in Heppenheim, Germany. An artistic child who suffered from seizures, Rita's early life was marked by tragedy but she eventually married and moved to the United States where she opened day care centers in two states. She also became paralized from the waist down from a spine surgery as a result of being hit by a drunk driver. An important part of her healing process and answer to adversity in her life was drawing and painting as she learned to "exercise, trust God, paint, and take life as it comes."
